Onslaught is a British thrash metal band formed in Bristol, England, in 1982. Initially influenced by hardcore punk, they shifted to thrash metal and released their debut album Power from Hell in 1985. Known for aggressive riffs and politically charged lyrics, key albums include The Force (1986) and Generation Antichrist (2020). Onslaught is considered a pioneer of UK thrash metal and remains active on the international metal scene.
