The Police were a British rock band formed in London in 1977, consisting of Sting, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland. They combined rock, reggae, and punk influences. The band achieved international fame with hits like “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” and “Message in a Bottle.” They released five studio albums before disbanding in 1986, later reuniting for a world tour in 2007–2008.
